Dan Ogden discusses democratic political history

VANCOUVER– The political science department at Washington State University Vancouver presents, “60 Years and Counting: A Retrospective on Dan Ogden’s Commitment to the Democratic Party,” 5 to 6 p.m., March 2 in the Library Building, room 261. A reception follows at 6 p.m. in the library.

Ogden’s presentation will be in the form of an interview. Mark Stephan, assistant professor of political science, will ask him questions about his years of activism, followed by a brief question and answer period for the audience.

Ogden, who is very involved in his community, is a former professor of political science at WSU Pullman and chair of the Clark County Democrats.
He is married to Val Ogden, former six-term state representative from the 49th Legislative District and speaker at the 2006 WSU Vancouver commencement ceremony.
