WSU Vancouver to host Information Night

The Washington State University Vancouver School of Engineering and Computer Science is hosting an information night for prospective students at 6 p.m., Jan. 16 in the Student Services building, Room 110.

Current high school students and potential transfer students will have a chance to meet personally with WSU Vancouver’s world-class engineering and computer science faculty, as well as tour the state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities on the campus.

The faculty will present details about bachelor’s degrees offered in these fields.

At WSU Vancouver, computer science students can choose from a variety of courses in areas such as intelligent systems, software and hardware systems, graphics, networking and multimedia.

Mechanical engineering students can customize their study through micro and nanotechnology, design and manufacturing, and mechatronics – the design of mechanical systems with electronic and computer controls, automation and robotics.
