Elevators get an upgrade

The elevators inside the French Administration building are in the process of a complete modernization, according to Howard Gossage, director of maintenance and utility services.

Currently one elevator is being worked on while the other is still operating.

The two elevators are the original ones built with the building in 1967, so it was time for an upgrade, he said.

Gossage said there were not previous problems with the elevators, but they need to be operating in better condition.

The maintenance on the first elevator is nearing the halfway point, but Gossage is unsure when the project will be finished.
