Public forums set in October for regional campuses

Washington State University faculty, staff, students and area community members will have a chance to share their ideas on WSU’s presidential search at public meetings in October in the Tri-Cities, Vancouver and Spokane.

The meetings will provide an opportunity for people to share their thoughts on the priority work for WSU’s president in coming years and on the characteristics of a new president that will make the individual a good match for the university and its aspirations.

Locations and dates include:

* Tri-Cities: Oct. 13, in the East Building on the WSU Tri-Cities campus. The 2 p.m. forum will be in Room 208 and the 5:30 p.m. forum will be in the East Auditorium, Room 266.

* Vancouver: Oct. 17. The 3:30 p.m. forum will be in the Multimedia Classroom Building, Room 16, on the WSU Vancouver campus. The 5:30 p.m. forum is set for the Spruce Room at the Vancouver Hilton.

* Spokane: Oct. 19 and 20. The forum on Oct. 19 will be at 4:30 p.m. in the Early Bird Room of the Davenport Hotel. On Oct. 20, the forum is set for 2 p.m. at the Academic Center Auditorium, Room 20, at the Riverpoint Campus.

A forum in Seattle is planned for Oct. 25, with time and place to be announced.
