Conference pursues ‘livable community’

The third annual Design Research Conference at WSU Spokane will look at what makes a livable community. The Oct. 5-7 lectures are free to the public and will be held in the Phase I Classroom Building.

Lectures will include topics on rammed-earth and straw-bale housing in China, Scandinavian communities, health and the homeless, and human nature and the built environment.
