Property tax limitation initiative tossed out by judge

King County Superior Court judge on June 13 tossed out an initiative by anti-tax guru Tim Eyman, finding that I-747, passed by voters in 2001, was unconstitutionally deceptive. The initiative, which voters approved overwhelmingly, limited property-tax growth to 1 percent a year.
