Faculty teaching in Todd Hall will return next fall to upgraded multimedia equipment in classrooms on the second, third and fourth floors.
Todd is the largest classroom building on the WSU Pullman campus and was last remodeled in 1995. Equipment is outdated and replacement parts are scarce.
This phase of the Todd Hall project includes minor capital renewal work (patching and painting, for example), acoustic-related improvements to reduce ventilation noise in the rooms, and network and major equipment installation and upgrades. The improvements are part of a long-range equipment upgrade plan initiated by the 12-member General University Classroom Committee, chaired by Deborah Carlson and reporting to Provost Robert Bates.
Day-to-day technical support for classrooms on the Pullman campus is provided by Instructional Support Services. Their website shows photos, locations, seating and equipment available in each university classroom: www.iss.wsu.edu. The site also describes services available and includes a Classroom Feedback Form for comments related to a specific room.
