WSU to sponsor second annual technology summit

WSU will serve as a sponsor of the second annual Washington Technology Summit on Wednesday, April 28 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond, Wash.

The summit is the state’s premier conference for technology networking and keeping on top of industry trends.

Three general sessions will be offered including:
•Supporting Technology Development in Our State; featuring Governor Christine Gregoire
•Innovation & Research in Today’s Tech Economy; featuring Rick Rashid, Senior VP of Research for Microsoft
•Technology Trends in the Press; featuring a panel including Nick Wingfield, Wall Street Journal; John Cook, Seattle Post-Intelligencer; Tom Sowa, Spokesman-Review

In-depth industry tracks in aerospace, agriculture, software and renewable energy, as well as a networking reception and vendor showcase, will also be offered at the event.
 
Registration for the summit is $150 and can be done online or via mail.  The final date for registration is April 27 at 5 p.m.
