APAC urges applicants to fill vacancies

The Administrative Professional Advisory Council invites applications from interested administrative professional personnel to fill vacancies on the council. Applications are due by Friday, April 28.

The purpose of the Administrative Professional Advisory Council is to serve as a liaison between the administrative professional employees and central administration and to effectively communicate important issues.

Objectives of the APAC are:

· Serve in an advisory capacity regarding administrative professional issues
· Represent the interests of administrative professional employees
· Provide a forum where administrative professional employees may discuss university-related issues of mutual interest
· Disseminate information between administrative professional staff and the central administration.

Openings on the council will be filled for two- or three-year terms beginning July 1.

The council meets for an hour and a half once a month. Council members also have the opportunity to serve on subcommittees, which may require additional time commitments.

Those interested in serving on the council should apply by visiting the APAC Web site, www.apac.wsu.edu, and clicking on “APAC membership application.”

For more information, contact Virginia Tavera-Delgado at
vdelgado@wsu.edu, or any other council member. A complete membership roster is available on the APAC web site.
