Solstice Wind Quintet to perform

The Solstice Wind Quintet will present a spring concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 26 in Bryan Hall Theater on the WSU-Pullman campus.

The distinguished faculty ensemble, which has been in residence at WSU since 1978, is known for intimate, friendly performances in the chamber music tradition. Members of the quartet include Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Anthony Taylor, clarinet; Sarah Bahauddin, oboe; Ryan Hare, bassoon; and Jennifer Scriggins, horn.

The free concert will feature music by Cuban jazz composer Paquito D’Rivera, 19th century romantic composer Theodor Blumer and American composer Elliot Carter.
