Pullman Community Blood Drive Planned

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Pullman Community Blood Drive will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 15 at Higginson’s Home Furnishings, 850 S. Grand Ave.

There is a higher need for blood products in December and January due to more roadway accidents and an increase of surgeries following the holidays.

In order to help alleviate this problem in the Inland Northwest, Pullman Community Blood Drive volunteers and the Inland Northwest Blood Center are relying on generous blood donors to attend this life-saving event.

The Pullman community consistently hosts life-saving blood drives and INBC relies heavily on blood donors to keep the blood inventory at a safe level. All blood types are needed.

All donors from the WSU blood drive held Oct. 19-20 are eligible to donate at this drive.

For general information or for eligibility questions, call (509) 624-0151 or (800) 423-0151. Visit the INBC Web site at www.inbc2.org.
