Lighting Up the Room

Next week, students in grades 6-9 will spend their days exploring the relationship between lighting and architecture, landscape architecture and interior design at the Interdisciplinary Design Institute at Washington State University Spokane. Students will gain real-world experience by taking part in a variety of exciting hands-on activities to learn more about the relationship between lighting and architecture. The camp will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, June 21, through Friday, June 25 in the Phase I Classroom Building at the Riverpoint campus, 668 N. Riverpoint Blvd., Spokane. (Friday camp ends at 1 p.m.) The camp will feature students working with models and materials for design and construction.
