Bioterrorism topic of discussion Nov. 8

Two members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program will discuss bioterriorism Nov. 8 on the Washington State University campus.

Steven A. Morse, associate director of science at CDC, and John V. Barson, a CDC epidemiologist, will discuss “Bioterrorism: Threats and Prevention” during a 9:30 a.m.-noon program at Todd Hall, Room 130. There is no cost to attend the public program.

The speakers’ visit is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health Biotechnology Training Program at WSU. This is the second year the program has sponsored visiting speakers to discuss major topics in science.
