Ethics teaching celebration April 29

The presentation of this year’s Richard Crain Faculty Award for Distinction in Ethics Teaching will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in SCUE 518.

A wine and cheese reception will take place, along with the presentation of the award by Mrs. Carolee Crain.

Candis S. Claiborn, associate professor, College of Engineering & Architecture and recipient of the award will present “Shades of Grey: Teaching Professional and Scientific Ethics.”

Dr. Val Limburg, professor of communication, will also receive a “Certificate of Special Recognition.”

The Richard Crain Faculty Award for Distinction in Ethics Teaching honors a faculty member who has distinguished him or herself in contributing to the teaching, learning and practice of ethics at Washington State University.
