PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Children’s Center announced its sponsorship of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program administered by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Meals will be made available to enrolled children at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. Parental income determines the amount of money OSPI will reimburse sponsors to provide meals to enrolled children. Income eligibility guidelines are used to determine the reimbursement from OSPI.
A family of one could qualify for free meals with a monthly income of less than $960 or reduced-price meals with a monthly income of less than $1,366. To calculate meal prices for larger families, add $334 to the free meal price and $475 to the reduced-price meals.
