PULLMAN, Wash. — Members of Washington State University’s Freshman Seminar Program will present the culmination of their research at a Research Project Fair from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, April 26, in the Lighty Student Services Building, Room 260.
Researchers in the program have worked under the guidance of undergraduate and graduate students, and teaching and library faculty to answer complex social questions. The fair will present the results of months of research question formulation, data collection and analysis in the form of multimedia presentations.
WSU’s Freshman Seminar Program has received several national awards for its excellence. Last fall, the program was one of four programs nationwide to be named an “Exemplary Program for Academic Support” by the American College Personnel Association. The program also has been named one of the six best undergraduate programs internationally by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and nominated for recognition by the John Templeton Foundation for “educating to foster personal and civic responsibility.”
