WSU Faculty Have Articles Published in Anthology

PULLMAN, Wash. — Two WSU faculty members recently had their articles published by the Association of College Unions International as part of the ACUI Classics: Student Leadership in College Unions and Student Activities.

The first article, “Teaching Ethics and Values in Student Leadership Development,” was written by Joan Menzies, director of Student Services at WSU-Spokane; Martha Mullen, WSU Student Affairs officer; and Shirley Plakidas, director of the LSU Union at Louisiana State University. It was originally published in 1990.

The second article by Mullen and Martha Blood, chief operating officer of the ACUI Procure, is titled “Codes of Ethics and Values as Staff and Student Development Tools.” It was written in 1993.
