Tri-Cities Students Plan Moment of Silence, Memorial Book Signing Today

RICHLAND, Wash. — The Associated Students of Washington State University Tri-Cities have asked the community to join with them today (Sept. 13) at noon in participating in a moment of silent reflection in memory of the victims and families in Washington, D.C., New York and Pennsylvania.

The students are holding an open observation at noon, Thursday, Sept. 13, at the new student lounge in the West Building on the north Richland campus.

Additionally, WSU students are raising funds for disaster relief and will have memorial books for people to sign.

The books, one each to be sent to New York City firefighters, law enforcement and Pentagon personnel, will be available for all to sign in the student lounge area on campus.
