Rawlins to Speak at the Pasco Kiwanis Club

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University president V. Lane Rawlins is the featured speaker June 21 at the Pasco Kiwanis Club. The group meets at noon at Pasco’s Double Tree Inn Hotel.

Rawlins plans to discuss the importance of higher education for the future, especially the future of the Tri-Cities but also for the economy in general. He also will talk about developments at WSU and its critical role in the Tri-Cities.

Rawlins has just completed his first year as WSU president.
