WSU Symphonic Concert Set for March 1 at Bryan Hall Auditorium

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band will perform a concert at 8 p.m. March 1 in Bryan Hall Auditorium.

The performance, open to the public without charge, includes French ballet, German and 20th-century pieces.

The Symphony Orchestra’s performance of the Double Concerto in A minor Op. 102, by Johannes Brahms, will feature WSU music professors Meredith Arksey, violin, and Eugene Zenzen, violoncello. The Symphonic Band will perform two arrangements by Jason Schoonover, a graduate student in music. The Wind Symphony will perform Whitacre’s ballet, “Pineapple Poll Suite.”
