PULLMAN, Wash. — Three Washington State University students were arrested early Thursday morning for charges ranging from malicious mischief to using false identification.
Arrested were Adam Klein-Tompkins, 20; Joseph Perry, 19; and Brandon Zaro, 18. Klein-Tompkins was booked into the Whitman County jail and released following an initial court appearance Thursday. He was arrested on suspicion of first degree malicious mischief, vehicle prowl and being a minor in possession of alcohol (MIP). Charges of MIP and using a fake identification are pending for Perry. MIP charges are pending for Zaro.
WSU police responded to a call about 2 a.m. that reported a loud noise and seeing the three subjects standing around vehicles in a university parking lot near Rogers-Orton residence halls.
WSU police report that damage estimates to seven vehicles could total more than $5,000.
The case has been turned over to the Whitman County prosecutor’s office.
