PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University police are investigating several recent incidents involving one or two white males who are believed to be targeting Asian women for unwanted sexual contact.
A recent incident at Kimbrough Hall involved a male suspect who reportedly exposed himself to an Asian student while she was practicing piano. Another student reported a similar incident last summer that did not involve indecent exposure.
The man is described as a skinny, white male; 5’9″ tall; 30-35 years old with short brown (almost black) hair; small eyes; and no facial hair.
In a separate incident that occurred along Stadium Way on Jan. 1, a man tried to get an Asian student into his car, a small black two-door vehicle. He reportedly used sexually explicit language and followed the student for a short distance after she refused.
This suspect is described as a skinny, white male; 35-40 years old; brown curly hair; and a mustache.
The descriptions of these suspects are similar and police have not ruled out the possibility that they are the same person.
