PULLMAN, Wash. — Four Washington State University students will watch
their writing come alive beginning Oct. 18-21 at the Wadleigh Theatre on the
WSU campus.
At “Stage One,” the second annual one-act festival, the four plays written by
members of WSU’s student theater club, S.T.A.G.E., will be featured. Included
in the evening will be “A Long Vacation,” by Sean Barker, which explores how
humans perceive eternity versus existence; and “In Touch With His Feelings,”
by Jay Secatello, a story about a man interacting with his emotions.
On a lighter note, “Typical,” by Sean O’Malley, spoofs college roommates
experiencing atypical situations; and “Deconstructing Eve,” by Joshua Carter,
analyzes men’s confusion in understanding the opposite sex.
The shows will begin at 8 p.m. each of the four days, Oct. 18-21.
The producers urge extremely young viewers not to attend because of adult
