Bland to Present Graduate Program

PULLMAN, Wash. — Pianist Amy Bland, a graduate student in music at
Washington State University, will present a program of works by Ravel, J.S.
Bach and Beethoven Oct. 13 on the WSU campus. The 3:10 p.m. concert is
planned for Kimbrough Concert Hall and is open to the public without charge.

Jackie Wood, a Whitman College faculty member, will play the second piano
on a piece by Tom Benjamin, last year’s guest composer at the WSU New
Music Festival.

Bland received her bachelor’s degree in music from WSU in 1999.
