Nine Dubbed “Outstanding” by College of Business and Economics

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s College of Business and
Economics bestowed nine awards for outstanding performance to faculty, staff
and students for the 1999-2000 academic year at ceremonies April 26.

Outstanding faculty are:
— Claire Latham, WSU Vancouver accounting assistant professor, for teaching.
— Stergios Fotopoulos, WSU Pullman decision sciences professor, for
scholarship and research.
— Don Stem, WSU Pullman marketing professor, for service.
— David Lemak, WSU Tri-Cities management associate professor, for service.

Outstanding staff person is:
— Nancy Nunn, WSU Vancouver program coordinator.

Outstanding graduate assistants are:
— Mike Nelson, economics doctoral candidate, for teaching.
— Saonee Sarker, management information systems doctoral candidate, for
scholarship and research.
— Michelle Baird, MBA student, for service and leadership.

Decision sciences assistant professor Chuck Munson was selected as the
Professor of the Year by the MBA students.
