WSU Real Estate Professor Honored in Spokane

PULLMAN, Wash. — Donald R. Epley, professor of real estate and finance at Washington State University, will be honored Wednesday, Dec. 9, in Spokane by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
Epley will receive the first honorary Certified Commercial Investment Member designation presented by CIREI. The ceremony is planned for noon at Cavanaugh’s Inn at the Park.
The Victor L. Lyon/CCIM Distinguished Professor of Real Estate, Epley has been a member of the WSU faculty since 1997. He received a doctorate from the University of Missouri and has been on the faculties of Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi State universities. Epley is the former president of the American Real Estate Society.
He is also a licensed real estate broker, certified general appraiser and a member of the Appraisal Institute.
Based in Chicago, the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation to commercial real estate professionals who meet educational and experience requirements. Currently there are more than 6,000 CCIM designees.
