Second Candidate Due to Interview for WSU Liberal Arts Dean Position April 6-7

PULLMAN, Wash. — The second of four candidates for the position of dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Washington State University will be on campus Monday and Tuesday,
April 6-7.
Ben Agger, dean of the College of Liberal Arts, University of Texas at Arlington, will present a seminar and open presentation on his vision for the College of Liberal Arts from 8:30-10 a.m., Monday in Edward R. Murrow Communication Center’s WHETS studio. The presentation will be available from WHETS classrooms Murrow 55 and 53, WSU Spokane B110, WSU Tri-Cities 256W and WSU Vancouver Classroom 130.
Candidate Ann Leffler, interim dean for the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Utah State University, visited WSU March 30-31.
Two candidates will be on the Pullman campus for interviews later in April. Barbara Couture, professor, Department of English, College of Liberal Arts, Wayne State University, Detroit, will interview April 15-16. Jeremy Cohen, associate dean, Undergraduate Education and Faculty Development, and professor, College of Communications, Penn State, will be on campus
April 23-24. Times for their public talks will be announced at a later date.
