Wilmer Davis Dining Earns Governor’s Recognition

PULLMAN, Wash.–Wilmer Davis Dining Hall at Washington State University has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Governor’s Committee on Disability Issues and Employment.
The citation was accepted by Lawren Harper, WSU food service associate manager, at the committee’s 8th annual awards program held April 1. Nominated by Palouse Industries, the dining hall was recognized for its efforts to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Awards were presented on behalf of the governor by Richard Thompson, director of the Office of Financial Management.
Named among the top award winners was the Property and Transport Services of the University of Washington which received the Government Employer Award.
