Tree planting — Tree Campus Higher Education

Join us on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an annual tree planting in observation Tree Campus Higher Education (formerly Tree Campus USA). Tree Campus Higher Education is a program founded in 2008 by the Arbor Day Foundation. WSU earned designation in 2014 and has maintained status annually since then.

We will be planting poplars, pines, and Douglas-fir trees in the windbreaks located outside of the fence at the Horticulture Center located at 1452 Johnson Road.

As this is a volunteer program, we welcome all people who are willing to help. Dress for outdoor digging with sturdy shoes and gloves.
