Seminars: Dynamics of Settlement Systems, & Game Theory and Romanisation

This is the first in a series of four seminars in College Hall 125, open to the public, presented by members of an interdisciplinary team of researchers from France who study major changes in settlement systems in history and prehistory. Monday’s talks (3-4 PM, followed by a reception) are entitled “The Dynamics of Settlement Systems: from Archaeomedes to TransMonDyn,” by Laure Nuninger and Lena Sanders, and “Game Theory and Romanisation: the reorganization of city systems after the Roman conquest southern Gaul” by Alain Franc, Marie-Jeanne Ouriachi, and Frédérique Bertoncello.
