Washington State University President Dan Bernardo, Vice President for Research Chris Keane, Vice President for International Programs Asif Chaudhry, and Graduate School Dean William Andrefsky will headline the 2016 Fulbright Academy Forum.
The WSU administrators will speak and be on hand to answer questions during the event, which will take place from 3:30 – 5 p.m., Thursday, April 7, in CUE 518. Catering will be provided.
The event is open to anyone on campus interested in learning more about faculty, student, and professional Fulbright opportunities.
One of WSU’s primary goals is to apply knowledge through local and global engagement that will improve quality of life and enhance the economy of the state, nation, and world. The WSU Fulbright Academy helps the University achieve this goal by:
- increasing opportunities for faculty, students, and international partners to engage in intercultural exchange and outreach;
- building upon current and emerging areas of research excellence;
- growing WSU’s international reputation;
- increasing the University’s global presence and worldwide impact.
A panel discussion will be part of the forum to help attendees learn more about the Fulbright program and how they can get the most out of what it has to offer.
