Beginning tonight, Jan. 22, at 9 p.m., WSU-managed Windows computers will require users to read and accept an electronic communication policy when logging onto their computers.
Users will need to click the “OK” button when presented with this blue box in order to proceed with normal login.
For computers requiring exclusion from the login banner, users can submit an exception request to the Crimson Service Desk at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu
Departmental OU administrators can request delegated access to opt-out certain computers from this policy. Exclusion should only be requested for computers with justifiable business applications that would be otherwise interrupted by this banner.
Such requests must also be submitted to the Crimson Service Desk.
