SEATTLE, Wash. — University of Washington President Richard L.
McCormick and Washington State University President Samuel H. Smith will
join together for their annual pre-Apple Cup media availability at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 18, Gerberding Hall, Room 301 on the UW campus.
This is the last time the two will be together as presidents of their respective
institutions. Smith has announced his retirement effective July of 2000.
