Employees among inaugural green-bike riders

PULLMAN – About a dozen employees, students and community members helped inaugurate the Green Bike Program at WSU Pullman on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
 
Participants in the Tour de Pullman gathered at the Terrell Mall before embarking on a six-mile afternoon ride around campus.
 
Sponsored by WSU Wellbeing, a program of University Recreation, the Green Bike Program is intended to decrease fuel consumption as well as air and noise pollution. The program has more than 40 bikes available free to students, faculty and staff for short- or long-term use. Find more information here.
