Program wins state award for environmental education

Imagine Tomorrow has received the 2009 Environmental Education Association of Washington (EEAW) Community Catalyst Award for program excellence. The award recognizes projects from agencies, schools or organizations with an educational mission that provided community-based environmental education.
Imagine Tomorrow https://imagine.wsu.edu challenges high school students to seek new ways to support the transition to alternate energy sources. Students present their solutions in a May competition on the Pullman campus.
 
EEAW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association of educators, agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals committed to quality environmental education in the state and to the positive role that interdisciplinary, hands-on and place-based educational approaches have in communities. EEAW is an Affiliate of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE).
