PULLMAN – Information Technology Services will conduct an upgrade and maintenance of the WSU Pullman Data Center, with planned service outages on Monday, Dec. 28 and Wednesday, Dec. 30. ITS will implement two changes in the Data Center:
* Phase I, to be completed on Dec. 28, from midnight 6 a.m., is the addition of 10Gb supervisors to the ITB Data Center’s Cisco 6509 switch in preparation for a later upgrade of this switch with a 10Gb link to the WSU network core switches.
* Phase II, scheduled for Dec. 30, from midnight 3 a.m., is a new generation firmware upgrade for the ITB Data Center Firewalls and a new configuration implementation.
