Education Abroad Fair highlights global opportunities

PULLMAN – The WSU Education Abroad Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 on the Glenn Terrell Mall. Students in any field of study can find cost-effective programs to enhance their education and provide a global perspective on their area of study. Students can visit the fair to talk to more than 20 study abroad program providers offering study and internship opportunities in more than 40 countries.

WSU faculty will be present to share information on summer and semester programs they are leading abroad. Programs led by faculty offer a unique opportunity for in-depth and field-based study abroad while taking WSU courses.

Students can learn about exchange program options where participants enroll directly in a partner university abroad and have access to full curriculum study. Students studying at WSU from these partner schools will attend the fair to answer questions about their home universities. Education Abroad staff will be available to answer questions and students will be eligible to win the Education Abroad raffle, worth 50 percent off of the Education Abroad application fee.

The Education Abroad Fair is a biannual event that allows students to speak directly with program providers, WSU faculty and Education Abroad staff about study abroad opportunities.

The WSU Vancouver campus will also host an Education Abroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 14 in the Administration Building Gallery.
