Job Club for Employees provides support

PULLMAN – The WSU Job Club for Employees provides a supportive time and place over the next eight weeks for employees who may be separating from WSU or are seeking a new position.

The WSU Job Club for Employees is a support, resource, and job assistance group ready to provide career related information to aid in preparing WSU employees for their next job search. Stefany Unda, senior career counselor and Janina Robbins, career advisor/marketing manager for the Center for Advising and Career Development (CACD), created the Job Club’s eight-session summer workshop series.

Robbins
The job club will usually be hosted 12:10 – 12:50 pm Wednesdays in the Lighty building (Room 403 on June 24). The workshops will run for eight weeks this summer with the last session held on Aug. 5.

“The main focus of the job club is to work with employees on their job goals,” said Robbins. “Our desire is to aid employees in gearing up for their job search while providing them with career related support so they may transition more easily into their next position.”
