PULLMAN — WSU President Elson S. Floyd and Provost and Executive Vice President Warwick M. Bayly will announce the university’s finalized budget plans for the 2009-2011 biennium at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 17.
The announcement will be held at the Auditorium of the Compton Union Building on the Pullman campus. It will be broadcast to sites on the university’s three other campuses WSU Spokane, Spokane Academic Center, Room 20; WSU Tri-Cities, West Building, Room 256; and WSU Vancouver, Classroom Building, Room 130. It will also be video-streamed at www:experience.wsu.edu
On May 1, university officials announced a preliminary plan for addressing the $54 million reduction in its state allocation for the upcoming biennium. The new budget will go into effect on July 1.
