The National Lentil Festival committee on May 30 displayed its 2009 poster during an annual unveiling ceremony held at the Old Post Office Wine Gallery.
The poster was created by Matthew Leiker, a Pullman area artist.
Signed posters, tshirts, and other Lentil Festival ‘gear’ will be available at the Pullman Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s festival will include a cook off recipe contest, with a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize. To enter a recipe, click the following link and go to the Lentil Festival website. The deadline is July 3.
The festival will be held Aug. 21-23 in Pullman. WSU has been among the festival’s sponsors since it was founded more than 20 years ago.
