Work on Library Road resumes for season

Work on the Library Road Phase III project for the 2009 season is planned to begin Monday, March 16.
To promote a safe environment, various areas will be fenced throughout the season. There will not be continuous access on Library Road, as there has been through much of the project.
This will restrict pedestrian and service-vehicle traffic at times for the remainder of the construction season. Members of the WSU community are reminded to pay close attention to way-finding and detour signs when traveling around the work zones.
Work will begin Monday at the transit area in front of the old Bookie building and the area between College, Todd and Abelson halls.
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) parking and loading-dock access behind these halls will be closed temporarily. As work progresses, parking will be restored.
The Murrow Hall east side entry bridges will be installed this spring. Trees and ground covers will be planted in the area. Notice will be given of temporary Hello Walk closure prior to planting.
