PULLMAN – Anti-racism author and activist Tim Wise will speak at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in the CUB auditorium. The free event is sponsored by the ASWSU Student Entertainment Board.
Wise has written several books, including, “White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son” and “Between Barack and a Hard Place: Racism and White Denial in the Age of Obama.” He has spoken at hundreds of colleges and does educational workshops about ways to uproot institutional racism.
A book-signing will follow the lecture.
