Get assistance to deal with budget fallout

Helping employees adjust and recover after WSU’s difficult 2009 budget process is the focus of a workshop 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in FSHN T-101 and via videoconference at other campuses and locations statewide.

Scott Case
“Regaining Our Balance and Moving Forward” will be led by Scott Case, WSU Counseling Services psychologist and Employee Assistance Program coordinator, and Cheryl Stolz, also of WSU Counseling Services.

The workshop is designed for all employees at all levels and functions within the university community. It will provide ideas and information for facilitating adjustment, enhancing communication and providing support as WSU contends with restructuring and other consequences of budget cuts.

Adopting suggestions and strategies set forth in the workshop can help employees recognize the challenges and work collaboratively to overcome them.
