PULLMAN – WSU’s new 15-member University Budget Committee, which will address budget reductions for the 2009-2011 budget, began its work at a Dec. 12 meeting.
Chaired by President Elson S.
Floyd and Provost and Executive Vice President Warwick M. Bayly
, the UBC will assist in fact-finding and decision-making for the upcoming biennium.

The committee also discussed and agreed to a series of communication actions, including updates from the committee to be published on its website.
All members of the WSU community are encouraged to submit suggestions to the committee as to how WSU can “cut costs, operate more efficiently, increase revenue, and more effectively fulfill its mission.” Suggestions can be submitted online via a form on the UBC website at https://budget-committee.wsu.edu.
