Teachers, jazz band mark professional accomplishment

RICHLAND — Seventeen teachers completed the advanced professional certification program through the WSU Tri-Cities College of Education.

The educators will share portfolios, poster boards, PowerPoint presentations and a performance by the Hanford High School Jazz Band to demonstrate their advanced competencies in effective teaching, their professional development, and their professional contributions.

The Culminating Seminar Celebration is at 5 p.m. Dec. 1 in the East Auditorium at WSU Tri-Cities, 2710 University Drive, Richland. Admission is free and open to the public.
