WSU honors veterans during Dad’s Weekend

PULLMAN — The Associate Students of WSU Veterans Affairs Committee and the WSU Veterans Outreach Center will honor Veterans during a WSU Veterans’ Day Ceremony, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
 
Guest speaker at the event will be Navy veteran Michael Infranco of the WSU Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service and instructor with the Political Science department. There will be a 21 gun salute on the Veterans Memorial around 10:30 a.m.
 
The ceremony, which will be held early to coincide with Dad’s Weekend, will begin in the Compton Union Building Auditorium and conclude with a wreath laying ceremony at the WSU Veterans Memorial. Coffee and pastries will be provided, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
