Renowned author and journalist Christopher Hitchens will reschedule his visit to Washington State University, where he was due to speak on the subject of “Religion and Politics.” The speech was planned for Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. in the Compton Union Building Auditorium. Hitchens has postponed his visit to WSU Pullman in order to interview former Cuban president, Fidel Castro, who is reported to be in failing health.
There will be a further announcement once a rescheduled date has been arranged.
This event was co-sponsored by the Thomas S. Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service and the International Programs Global Studies.
