American West Literary Reading in Moscow, April 18

PULLMAN, Wash.– Three Washington State University faculty from the English department will participate in “Writing/Now,” a literary reading at Cafe Silos in Moscow, Idaho, 6-7:30 p.m. April 18.

Buddy Levy, Andrea Mason, Peter Chilson and Debbie Lee will be reading their own works.

The free event, partly sponsored by the Idaho Humanities Council, will emphasize the stories, experiences and landscapes of the American West.

Each author has a different area of emphasis. Levy writes about outdoor adventure, Mason writes personal essays that focus on external landscape as instrumental in the formation of internal landscape, Chilson writes about Africa and the American West, and Lee is working on a project about her relatives living and working in the Idaho wilderness.
