Authentic Leadership a Lecture Series at WSU Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash.— The Program in Leadership and Professional Studies at Washington State University Spokane is launching an annual spring lecture series beginning today, Jan. 17. The series features the opportunity to interact with Spokane area leaders who will share their insight on authentic leadership.

The general public, faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the weekly lectures on Thursdays from noon-1 p.m. on the Riverpoint Campus in the Academic Center room 249 at 600 N Riverpoint Blvd., Spokane. Campus visitors can park in the metered spaces or purchase a parking pass from Parking Operations in the South Campus Facility behind the Bookie at 412 E. Spokane Falls Blvd.

“We have many local leaders who exemplify authentic leadership,” said Clif Barber, director of the Program in Leadership and Professional Studies. “The Spring 2008 Leadership Lecture series is designed to explore the concept of authentic leadership through their life stories. We hope this series will foster introspection among those who attend so they can begin a journey that develops their own style of authentic leadership.”

A detailed list of the invited speakers and their leadership background can be found online at https://www.spokane.wsu.edu/academics/Leadership/lectures.asp.
