PULLMAN, Wash. More than 80 cattle producers are registered to attend the Cattlemen’s Boot Camp Thursday, Jan. 3, and Friday, Jan. 4, on the Washington State University campus.
WSU faculty, staff and industry experts will cover a broad range of topics of interest to producers, according to Kris Johnson, WSU professor of animal sciences, including calf health management, animal identification systems, effective use of functional genetics, source verification programs, crisis communications skills, marketing alternative-branded products and consumer preferences.
